Description
The word "Carrel" in its original context describes the study space of a monk. This work is intended to be a recreation of that silent place for meditation and reflection. In my own life, the sound of silence is so valued, and I have begun to realize that silence is much more than an absence of noise. This work is intended to be a sanctuary of stillness to rest the soul.
