Abstract

The article discusses various reports published within the issue, including one by Brenda S. Romanoff, Bob Algozzine and Aleene B. Nielson on the effectiveness of authentic assessment, one by Chance W. Lewis, Lisa Bowman-Perrott and Valerie Hill-Jackson on improving the performance of African American males in educational programs for gifted youth, and one by Sally Reis and Hope Boeve on the assessment of efficacy of an afterschool enrichment program.
