Description
The materials used in this sculpture were copper wire, colored string and card catalog cards. The process that I used consisted of brazing copper wire with jump rings together to form the skeleton of my piece. The shape of the work is a tapered chandelier form which moves freely as it hangs. I wanted to portray the idea of constricted freedom with the way the cards were tied together and balanced on the inside rings.
